Find a way to access a book I downloaded to my tablet. I can’t remember if I used the Nook or Kindle app. At one point, I was able to read the same book on my computer and tablet. Now I can’t remember how I accessed this and what email account I used! I paid for the book and would like to re-read it someday or at least share it.
Plant those tomatoes. I have the plant, the dirt, a big pot but no desire.
Donate that bag of clothes and other random stuff.
Finish those blog posts about work/life balance. There’s a chance I will manage to finish up this post but just not in a timely manner. I suppose this debate isn’t going away soon though…
Various Tech Stuff, like backing up pictures to the hard drive and setting up a wireless modem.
Go through all my magazine clippings and actually do something about it. Whether it’s a recipe, organizing idea, new recipes or something else, I tend to clip magazine articles for a specific purpose and then dump these months later.
What do you have on your “Someday I’ll Get Around To It” List?

Organize my linen closet and home office.
Typing up all of my scrappy notes that were the inspirattion for my blog. For years I wrote…journal type notes on things that really helped me, inspirations, thoughts, sayings, ancedotes, things that I had read or heard that made me “get” life and achieve happiness. Now I have heaps of scrappy notes and my plan was to type them all up and post them a couple times a week……I have done some but have heaps to go. I tend to just blog my latest thoughts and not go to far back into my old notes….I really must make the time to get stuck into it.
Giving the dogs a real bath, not just running them outside when it rains.
Making a soup pot bird out of all those extra roosters.
Turning all my blog posting in to a printed discoherent pamphlet
Pulling the cucumber and cantaloupe vines out of my weed garden.
and the list goes on
With the exception of item #4 on your list, I bet you could get all of that done for under $40 by paying someone to be your Personal Assistant.
I paid a college student $10/hr to get all the pictures off our cellphones, print them, and organize them. We had put off doing it for over 2 years. Money well spent.
There are books I want to read and movies I want to watch that I am having trouble getting around to. Unfortunately, that can’t be delegated or I already would have.
True. I think I will eventually get to some of those things. The bigger problem is that these things tend to fall to the bottom of my to-do list. i try to keep my to-do list short and prioritize so as you can imagine, these types of things are often forgotten! However, I like the college student idea. Just hire someone to do all these little tasks in one day!
We’ve done the college student idea too. Wrote up a long list of little things that needed to be done (take recycling to the recycling place, touch up paint on cabinets etc. etc. etc.). It was awesome… and basically took a Saturday and $50, give or take.
